From the Director

Science is a team sport. Always. Neuroscience works only within teams of scientists, engineers, support staff, and importantly, the will of the people to make science work. And yet, so few of our population benefit from our findings or know of them. We imagine a world were communities are empowered by neuroscience literacy— able to use the work to understand themselves, understand each other, and solve real problems. If this seems daunting, remember that reading was once only for the privileged few.

Our mission is to partner with communities through schools, community centers, and pre-existing programs to create neuroscience educational materials and to give communities greater input into neuroscience research.
