Neuroconsulting: targeted neuroscience research at your fingertips

Neuroscience with a purpose.

Since 2020, The CNI has expanded into neuroscience technical assistance, neuroconsulting to support community organizations and policymakers in applying neuroscience to their pressing challenges. The CNI is supporting partner organizations in New York (Nonprofit Executive leaders and philanthropists) with actionable research they can use to accelerate their work in communities. Tangible outcomes of this model include policy briefs on the development effect of gun violence on youth, best practices in parental care, and managing bias in the classroom – to name a few.

These efforts bridge the divide between the research community and practitioners who use research to make evidence-based decisions. Making the research products from Neuroconsulting available after the project is complete furthers the CNI's long-term vision of democratizing neuroscience for the public.

CNI Partners with NYS Regent Naan Mead and Chair of Cornell’s Department of Human Centered Design, Dr. Mardelle M. Shepley to discuss neuroscience and design for education.
